U.S. pushing the world economy to the brink

What many analysts and economists feared to happen to blight the global economy is seemingly in the making. U-S President Donald Trumps trade battle with China is now on the rise with Beijing retaliating tariffs imposed on its exports to the U-S. On Friday, China levied five-percent taxes on 75 billion dollars worth of American products. The move provoked Donald Trump to swiftly hit back and raise by 5 percent the existing and planned tariffs on Chinese goods. In a string of tweets, Trump once again accused China of taking advantage of the US for years by trade and what he called intellectual property theft and much more. The American president then blamed the previous administrations for the way China is acting.
