Russia: Iskander missile system undergoes successful testing in Astrakhan region
Russia's mobile short-range Iskander ballistic missile system underwent a successful test launch at the Kapustin Yar testing site in southern Russia's Astrakhan region on Saturday, as seen in footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The ministry reported that military employees successfully destroyed the critically important improvised enemy during the test launch of the Iskander missile system, the result of which was recorded by an Orlan-10 drone.
The Iskander also fulfilled the testing standards for transferring the missile system to a combat position and striking missiles at the indicated coordinates.
