A major boost for Iran’s air defense network. Bavar-373, Iran’s first domestically manufactured long-range air defense system, joined the defense network on Thursday.

Iran began work to design and produce the system when, in 2010, sanctions made the purchase of Russia’s S-300 impossible for many years.
