Premier League: Norwich City 2-3 Chelsea

Chelsea have begged their first win of the Premier League season after overcoming a resilient Norwich City 3-2 away from home.

Tammy Abraham gave Chelsea the perfect start after a first-time finish from close range with his first goal for the club in the 3rd minute. It took the home side as long to draw level as it did to fall behind with Todd Cantwell applying the finish to a superb team effort.

The visitors retook the lead in the 17th minute with Mason Mount’s thumping shot into the corner for his second goal in as many games. Norwich, however, restored parity again just after the half hour mark, with Teemu Pukki scoring his fifth goal in the Premier League this season.

After a first half fraught with kamikazi defending, Chelsea edged in front in the 69th minute when Abraham doubled his tally from the edge of the box. This time, however, the London Blues refused to surrender their lead to snatch their first three points of the season.
