116 refugees authorized to disembark by Rome after stalemate with EU

Over 110 African refugees disembarked the Gregoretti coast guard ship on Wednesday following authorization from the Italian government.

The vessel had been in the port of the Sicilian city of Augusta since Saturday, the day the refugees were rescued in the Mediterranean sea.
