Iran's Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian as visited Kabul in order to discuss the expansion of bilateral ties and to exchange views on subjects of mutual interest.
The official visit of the high-ranking Iranian official to Kabul was widely welcomed in Afghanistan.
Iran and Afghanistan have expanded their relations in various fields since the ouster of the Taliban regime back in 2001.
