Iran and the US sanctions at their peak
The US has not saved any effort in pressuring Iran as recently its claimed to call off an attack on Iran for shooting down its drone.
Despite all the efforts of the B-team which is pushing for war with Iran, Trump seems to be reluctant as he is well aware of the consequences of a war with Iran; a country whose military power is totally unknown and has proved its high military capabilities several times especially in the recent shooting down of the USs reconnaissance drone.
Meanwhile, Iran is a country that in time of difficulty its people immediately become united and their sense of patriotism becomes rapidly provoked as in the recent escalation of USs pressure and sanction Iranian people have hated the US so much and from principlists to reformists have joined hands to support the government.
Following the Japanese PMs visit to Iran, their oil tanker was hit by an unknown war monger apparently. The US was quick to blame Iran for causing the explosions by attaching limpet mines to the hull of the vessels. But crew members said they were hit by flying objects darting above the waterline. That ships company president Yutaka Katada said of the cause of the incident, There is zero possibility that they were torpedoes. That was enough for Iran to shake off US claims as laughable.
In fact it was Iranian rescue workers that rushed to the aid, and transferred all of the two vessels 44 crew members to its southern shores. The US didnt give up and showed an Iranian boat crew, hours after the attack, removing a limpet mine attached to the hull of the damaged Kokuka Courageous; insinuating Iranians guilt.
Most analysts have arrived at consensus that in fact its USs regional allies which have a strong appetite for war with Iran and even some of them have allegedly offered the US to bear part of the war costs. Even Trump himself has repeatedly said that he doesnt want war with Iran.
Saudi Arabia, the Zionist regime and UAE are the main ones which are pushing US to confront Iran. In fact, they know that after some while Trump may push to the margins the issue of Iran and in that case, Iran will gain more power and since they were not good neighbors for Iran, they will be at risk.
