2019 VNL Finals: USA 3-1 France
The host nation, the USA, have defeated last year's runners-up France 3 sets to 1, in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League Finals in Chicago.
It was a close contest, but team USA dominated the match from the onset and managed to win the first two sets 25-16 and 25-22 .
The Blues, however, stormed back and won the third 25-23.
In the fourth set, the Americans re-grouped and finished it 25-21, to move one step closer to the semifinals.
France will meet Russia on Thursday, while the US will line up against Russia on Saturday.
