Anger is rising in Muslim countries against a controversial conference in Bahrain over Palestine.

Protesters in Syria, Lebanon, occupied West Bank and elsewhere have hit the streets to make their voices heard against the so-called Economic Workshop in Bahrain. Rallies were held in several West Bank cities, including Ramallah, Tulkarm, al-Khalil, Yatta, Halhoul, Nablus, Jenin and Bethlehem, where participants waved the national Palestinian flag and hoisted signs in condemnation of the Bahrain conference. They also denounced American plans to undermine the Palestinian struggle for independence and statehood.
