Turkish re-run local election

Turkey's ruling party has lost control of Istanbul after a re-run of the city's mayoral election. Opposition candidate Ekrem Imamoglu has won the election with some 54 percent of the vote compared with 45 percent for his rival, Binali Yildirim, who was President Erdogan’s chosen candidate.
