Russia's top chemical companies celebrate periodic table with flower wall
Two top Russian agriculture chemical companies Uralkali and Uralchem marked anniversary of Table of Chemical Elements by presenting a joint company stand made of flowers at St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
The Table was discovered by Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev 150 years ago in 1869 and is considered to be one of the most significant achievements in science.
The United Nations General Assembly and UNESCO proclaimed 2019 the "International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements."
