US sanctions encourage Russia, China to forge closer ties: Ex-US diplomat

Former US diplomat Michael Springmann believes America’s sanctions serve as a point of unity to Russia and China and have encouraged the two powers to further strengthen their relations.

In an interview with Press TV, Springmann comments about a meeting between Chinese and Russian presidents, Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, where the two leaders agreed to forge strategic ties.
