In an all-English UEFA Champions League final, Liverpool have claimed title for the 6th time, after defeating Tottenham 2-0, at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in the Spanish Capital, Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp’s team got-off to a dream start, as Egyptian Superstar Mohamed Salah converted from the spot, after only 2 minutes into the match.

The Londoners dominated the match after the break, but the man of the match, Liverpool keeper, Alisson Becker, was in great form to keep his goal closed, before Dutch striker, Divock Origi, drove a low shot into right-hand corner in 88th minute, to seal Liverpool’s first European cup since 2005.

With the victory, the Merseyside Reds erased the disappointment of last season's Champions League final loss, and now stand behind only Real Madrid who have won it 13 times, and AC Milan with 7 triumphs.
