Trump sidesteps congress over "Iran"
The US president has declared a national security emergency over alleged threats by Iran to sell some 8 billion dollars in weapons to Saudi Arabia.
By doing so, Donald Trump will bypass congress.
The 22 arms deals include precision-guided missiles, engines for warplanes and logistical services for the Saudi air force. However, the move has been condemned by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.
