Niklas Sule winner keeps Bayern on track for Bundesliga title

Over to Germany, where Bayern Munich have edged past visitors Werder Bremen 1-0 to stay on course for a seventh successive Bundesliga title.

Bayern had the upper hand throughout at the Allianz Arena and their breakthrough came in the 75th minute when a shot by Niklas Sule wrong-footed the keeper after taking a slight deflection. The win lifts the Bavarians to 70 points, four clear of Borussia Dortmund, who are in action against Freiburg on Sunday, with four matches left in the season. Bayern and Werder Bremen will meet again on Wednesday in a German Cup semi-final.
