Bayern Munich thrash Borussia Dortmund 5-0 in Bundesliga

Bundesliga's defending champions, Bayern Munich, have moved to the top of the standings, after thrashing title rivals Borussia Dortmund 5-0 at the Allianz Arena.

Dortmund, who were 2 points clear of Bayern at the summit, were shocked after Mats Hummels opened the scoring for the Bavarians in the 10th minute.

7 minutes later, Polish International Robert Lewandowski doubled the lead for Bayern with a great individual effort.

Bayern’s 3rd goal arrived after 41 minutes, when Javi Martinez scored form edge of the box. Only 2 minutes later, Serge Gnabry scored the 4th, finishing off a lovely cross by Thomas Muller.

Lewandowski tapped home his 2nd of the night, to cap-off a memorable 5-0 victory. Bayern, have now moved above Dortmund, and are one point clear at the top, with 6 matches remaining.
