Gaza rockets reach Tel Aviv

On Thursday, rockets launched from the Gaza Strip hit the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv. It is a rare case of long rage rocket fire from the besieged enclave.

Palestinian Resistance Movements in Gaza, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, are the only groups known to possess rockets capable of striking Tel Aviv. Both denied responsibility for launching the projectiles. Israeli officials said the remains of one rocket was found in an open area south of Tel Aviv. No details have been provided about the other rocket. However both rockets evaded the Israeli Iron Dome Missile System.
