Ukraine: Pigs literally fly at huge anti-corruption protest in Kiev

Thousands of people took to the streets in Kiev on Saturday to demand that authorities immediately detain all participants involved in alleged corruption at the defense enterprise Ukroboronprom. Entitled 'Poroshenko's Svinarchuks (pigs) - behind bars!', the rally was organized by the leaders of the National Corps.

Aimed at demonstrating their dissatisfaction with the perceived impunity of those involved in the Ukroboronprom scandal, demonstrators threw stuffed pigs at the Presidential Administration building.

According to the National Corps, more than 10,000 people came to the protest at Independence Square.

The demonstration was peaceful and there were no recorded occurrences clashes with the 3,000 police officers present.
