WRC: Ogier leads Rally Mexico

Over to motorsports and the 2018 WRC Champion, Sebastien Ogier has taken the lead at the rally of Mexico.

The French driver clocked an hour and 18 minutes at the end of day 1. Then Ford Fiesta driver Elfyn Evans finished 2nd just 10 seconds behind Ogier and 3rd in contention was Toyota’s Kris Meeke.

Meanwhile, the 2019 overall standing leader Ott Tanak finished 4th. Day 1 was a disastrous day for the Hyundai Team. Belgium driver Thierry Neuville finished 11th and therefore sidelined from the lead fight.

In addition, another Hyundai driver Andreas Mikkelsen was forced to retire from the Mexico Rally.
