Bayern Munich players celebrate winning the match

Over to Germany, where reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have defeated Schalke 3-1 at the Allianz Arena.

Schalke defender Jeffrey Bruma opened his own net to put Bayern ahead, 12 minutes into the match. Then, Ahmed KutuCu leveled the score for the visitors in the 25th minute.

Just 2 minutes later,Robert Lewandowski restored the Bavarians’ lead with a cool finish. Finally, Serge Gnabry headed home before the hour mark to register Bayern’s victory. With the win, Bayern managed to close the gap on leaders Borussia Dortmund to just 5 Points.
