Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz was presented as the new manager of Colombia's national football team in Bogota on Thursday.

"I am here with a lot of humility, and I say that I will try as usual to do my best so that, first of all, I can properly take care of the heritage that has been developed by the Colombian football team in the last years," Queiroz said during a press conference at the Colombian Football Federation headquarters in Bogota.

"One has to also be very good and innovative in decisions, therefore these are the two most important things: taking care of what is done well and try to improve what can be better," Queiroz added.

Colombia are the fifth national team to be managed by Queiroz after periods with Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Iran.
