Qatar thrash UAE 4-0 to reach Asian Cup football final
In the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, Qatar have made history by thrashing their hosts the UAE 4-0 to experience their first final of the competition.
The Qataris took the lead after 22 minutes of play, thanks to a powerful strike by Boualem Khoukhi from the right side of the box. 15 minutes later, Almoez Ali made it 2-0 for Qatar after his superb curling shot hit the post and deflected into the net. Hassan Al-Haydos tripled the advantage with a nice chip. And Hamid Ismail put the icing on the cake, scoring the 4th goal deep in stoppage time.
In the final showdown, the Qataris will go up against the Japanese, who are bidding for their 5th title.
