Venezuela says it is breaking off diplomatic relations with the United States. President Nicolas Maduro has given American diplomats 72 hours to leave the country.
This comes after President Donald Trump recognized the opposition leader as the President of the oil rich Latin American state. Trump described the Maduros government as an illegitimate regime. Earlier, opposition figure, Juan Gwaydow swore an oath and declared himself as the country President.
