FC Porto are through to the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League after defeating Turkish club Galatasaray 3-2 in Istanbul.
The visitors got on the scoresheet when Brazilian defender Felipe headed home from a free kick, 17 minutes into the match. Porto doubled the lead after Moussa Marega converted a penalty in the 42nd minute. Then Sofiane Feghouli equalized for the hosts from the spot before halftime.
Porto were the better side of the match as they made it 3-1 when Serkhio Oliveira netted in before the hour mark. But, Eren Derdiyok scored the consolation goal in the 65th minute. Despite slipping to a 4th defeat in 6 group matches, Galatasaray will go into the Europa League thanks to Lokomotiv Moscow's late loss at Schalke, leaving the Russian side at the bottom.
