Bundesliga: Monchengladbach move into 2nd place after defeating Stuttgart

Borussia Monchengladbach have moved into 2nd place in the Bundesliga, after a 3-0 home victory over Stuttgart.

The home fans had to wait until the 70th minute for the opener; And it came through a great header by Brazilian substitute, Raffael. 7 minutes later, Florian Neuhaus made it 2-0 with a cool finish. 

Stuttgart were reduced to 10 men in the 83rd minute, after midfielder Erik Thommy was shown a 2nd yellow card. 

Monchengladbach were presented with a 3rd goal, when Frenchman Benjamin Pavard, poked the ball into his own net. The victory puts Dieter Hecking's side on 29 points from 14 games, 7 behind leaders Dortmund.
