Feylis are a group of Shia Muslim Kurds mostly living in the western provinces of Iran and the eastern parts of Iraq. In 1981, Saddam Hussein signed a decree and ordered the confiscation, forced deportation, exile and detention of Feyli Kurds. More than forty years on, most of those victims have yet to receive their stolen land and properties. Ali Musawi reports from Diyala.
