The war of words is once again rising between China and the US. The renewed round of tensions follows the arrest of a top executive of Chinese telecom giant Huawei in Canada. Huawei's chief financial officer and the daughter of its founder, Meng Wanzhou was nabbed in Vancouver. A court in Canada has said she is facing fraud charges over alleged breach of U.S. sanctions against Iran. She will be extradited to the United States if convicted. But its widely believed that the Iran issue is just an excuse used by Washington in its confrontations with China. Beijing accuses Washington of using hooliganism to suppress the telecom giant. Chinese media say the arrest is part of efforts by Washington to contain the company.
