The 2019 AFC Champions League group stage, has been officially drawn in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and there are some tough but entertaining matches to look for.
This season's competition features Persepolis of Iran, the 2018 runner-ups, in Group D, where they’ll meet Al Saad of Qatar, Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia and a Play-off winner among Al Nasr of the UAE, Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan and Air Force of Iraq.
In Group C, Esteghlal of Iran will go up against the 2017 runner-ups, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia , Al Duhail of Qatar and Al Ain of the UAE. Zob Ahan and Saipa, the other 2 Iranian clubs, have to get past 2 play-off matches, to book a spot in the group stages.
