The Tunisian prime minister has won parliament’s confidence following a fierce debate. Youssef Chahed described winning the confidence vote as victory for democracy. The opposition has, however, strongly criticized Chahed, accusing his government of seeking to normalize ties with the Israel. Chahed is also accused of bowing to the agendas of the International Monetary Fund and Western capitals. Amir Bouka reports from Tunis.
