Real Madrid have officially registered Santiago Solari as their new manager, as the Spanish league regulations prohibit a club from having an interim coach for more than two weeks.

This is while, Real Madrid have not said whether they stopped looking for a full-time replacement for Yulen Lopetegui, who was fired on the 29th of October.

Solari, a former Madrid player, was appointed as the interim coach, but had not been ruled-out as a candidate. The 42-year-old has since led Real to 4 wins in 4 games, the best start of any manager in the club's history.

Solari's victories were against MeliYa in the Copa del Rey, Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League, and Real Valladolid and Celta Vigo in the La Liga.
