An insider's view of the country: Meshginshahr bridge and Qashqai tribe

The city of Meshginshahr is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in northwest Iran.

In Iran's northwestern province of Aradabil, the ancient city of Meshginshahr lies in the scenic landscape of the foothills of Mount Sabalan.

Less than a century ago, the Qashqais represented nearly 50% of the Iranian population. Qashqais these days are only about 400,000 people who are still leading a pastoral life trying to preserve ancient traditions.
