Barcelona edge past Rayo Vallecano 3-2

Barcelona have extended their lead at the top of the Spanish La Liga to four points, after defeating Rayo Vallecano 3-2 in an away match.

The defending champions got to the scoresheet when Luis Suarez scored from Jordi Alba's cutback eleven minutes into the match.

Jose Pozo grabbed the equalizer with an excellent 25-yard strike in the 35th minute. The hosts took the lead when Alberto Garcia tapped home in the 49th minute.

Ousmane Dembele equalized with three minutes remaining in the match. Finally, Suarez scored his second and Barcelona’s winner in the dying seconds of the match to rescue the full three points for the Catalan giants.
