Novak Djokovic defeats Roger Federer in 3 sets to reach Paris Masters final

Novak Djokovic of Serbia has overcame Swiss maestro Roger Federer in 3 sets, to book his spot at Paris Masters final.

14-time grand slam champion, Djokovic, won the first set 7-6. But the 20-time grand slam champion, Federer, fought back and finished the 2nd set 7-5, to send the match to a decider, where Djokovic finished it 7-6, to wrap-up an epic match in 3 hours and 6 minutes.

It was the 4th successive win for Djokovic over Federer, and the Serb will play against Russia’s Karen Khachanov. Djokovic is now on a 22-match winning streak, and will aim to move level with Rafael Nadal on a record 33 Masters titles.

Karen Khachanov of Russia has reached the final of the Paris Masters after a comfortable straight sets win over Dominic Thiem of Austria on Saturday.

The Russian dominated the match and won the first set 6-4. Khachanov continued his strong recent form and easily won the second set 6-1 to reach the final to play against Novak Djokovic.
