Marc Marquez wins 5th MotoGP World Championship

Marc Marquez has won his 5th MotoGP World Championship with victory in the Japan Grand Prix.

Marquez started from 6th, but it didn't take him long to find his way to the front. Andrea Dovizioso, who's second in the championship standings crashed with just two laps to go, ensuring the win for Marquez.

The win at Motegi was the 8th of the season for the Spaniard and drew him level on five titles with Mick Doohan. Only Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini have won more.
