English Premier League: Manchester United 2-2 Chelsea

Manchester City have moved to the top of the Premier League table with an easy 5-0 thrashing of Burnley, being their 7th win in the opening 9 games.

The defending champions took the lead in the 17th minute when Serjio Aguero slotted home from close range. 

Burnley gifted ManCity a 2nd goal, 9 minutes after the break. The Sky Blues' appeal for a penalty was turned down, but as the Clarets' defense stopped, Bernardo Silva made a simple finish. Two minutes later Fernan-dinyo scored City’s 3rd to put the game beyond Burnley.

A superb curling shot from Riyad Mahrez into the top corner made it 4-0, seven minutes from the end and Sane turned in a late 5th.

An injury time goal from Ross Barkley has earned Chelsea a last-gasp 2-2 draw at home to Manchester United in the Premier League.

Chelsea opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Germany defender Toni Rudiger headed home a Willian Corner.

Anthony Martial equalized 10 minutes after the break when the Chelsea keeper kept out a close-range shot by Juan Mata.

Martial fired ManU ahead in the 73rd minute after a fine breakaway move between Mata and Marcus Rashford.

At the other end, Barkley hammered home deep in injury time after a David Luiz header hit the post. 2-all the final score.
