In the NBA, the Miami Heat have defeated the Washington Wizards 113 to 112 at the Capital One Arena.

It was a close contest from the beginning and the Wizards managed to finish the Opening Frame with a 1-point advantage.

The 2nd quarter was tied at 34-all, as the Wizards went to the Locker Rooms with a 1-point lead. The hosts kept the momentum in the 3rd, but the Heat came from behind and won the final quarter 28-23, sealing their victory with a 1-point lead. The Heat will face the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, while the Wizards will travel to Toronto to visit the Raptors.

Denver Nuggets defeat Los Angeles Clippers 107-98

In addition, the Denver Nuggets topped The Los Angeles Clippers 107 to 98 away at the Staples Center on Thursday Night.

Denver went to the locker rooms leading 59-45. They kept the momentum in the next 2 sets as they won with 9-points. Gary Harris scored 19 points for the Nuggets while Tobias Harris bagged 19 point for the Clippers.
