The Edmonton Oilers have come back from three goals down to beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-4 in overtime.

The Jets who hosted the match were on fire and took a comfortable 2-0 lead thanks to Adam Lowry. But Connor McDavid scored a power play goal to make it 2-1 before the Jet’s Ben Chiarot restored the two-goal lead, 22 seconds later.

Mark Scheifele netted the only goal in the middle frame to further the Jets' advantage.

The Oilers came back to life in the third period with three goals and forced an overtime where they scored the winner through Darnell Nurse.
