‘Ayatollah Khamenei's message is independence in face of West’
Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has emphasized the need for Iran to rely on itself not on the West, says a commentator.
Catherine Shakdam, senior analyst and researcher at the Al Bayan Centre for Studies, told Press TV on Wednesday that Ayatollah Khamenei wants to emphasize the need for Iran to stand on its own two feet and not to rely on the West for progress.
“People need to understand that independence is absolutely key when it comes to opposing the degree of lawlessness and the lack of justice” in Western countries, she said.
