Iran’s rial gains lost value

An unexpected rush by individual owners of the greenback is said to have triggered the plunge. Over the past months, Iran has taken several other measures to reduce its vulnerability to economic US sanctions specifically the depreciation of its rial. Back in August, the government unveiled a package of policies to strengthen the rial.
