Russian, Kyrgyz troops hold joint anti-terror drills

Around 2,000 Russian and Kyrgyz troops took part in joint counter-terrorism drills in the eastern Issyk-Kul Region of Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday.

The troops practiced attacking a simulated enemy as part of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Anti-terror 2018 exercises.

More than 400 pieces of military equipment, including 30 Russian aircraft and Iskander-M ballistic missile systems took part in the drills.
