Defending champions Bayern Munich have secured the top spot in the Bundesliga, after posting a 2-0 away victory against Schalke.

The Bavarian giants got on the scoresheet in the 8th minute when Colombia striker Hamez Rodriguez headed home a corner by Joshua Kimmich.

Bayern Munich were dominant throughout the match and Roberr Levandofski made it 2-0 from the spot after Rodriguez was brought down in the box.

Bayern, chasing a seventh successive Bundesliga title, are two points clear at the top of the table after four games.
