Video: See the moment Tornado rips through Canada's Ottawa suburb
A powerful tornado ripped through residential neighbourhoods in Ottawa on Friday, footage filmed from a balcony on Lemieux Street shows.
The tornado churned across Ottawa's west and south ends, as well as the neighboring of Gatineau, Quebec. Power outages caused by the tornado could last for few days, according to local officials.
Authorities said dozens of people were injured, but there were no reports of fatalities.
