Kimi Raikkonen has posted the fastest time in the 2nd practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix, with reigning champion, Lewis Hamilton, trailing a fraction of a second of the pace.
Hamilton stalled his Mercedes early in the session after misjudging the entry into a turn, but the Brit drove solidly after that, finishing just 0.011 seconds behind Raikkonen's Ferrari at the 5 kilometer Marina Bay track.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was half a second behind Hamilton in 3rd, with his teammate Daniel Ricciardo finishing 4th. Hamilton’s title rival, Sebastian Vettel, was nearly 2 seconds behind Raikkonen in 9th. The Singapore Grand Prix will continue on Saturday at the Marina Bay Street circuit.
