Washington has no jurisdiction over pastor in Turkey: Analyst
The United States is not entitled to calling for Turkey to hand over Christian American pastor Andrew Brunson, who has spent almost two years in a Turkish prison on terrorism and espionage charges, says an analyst.
Jason Unruhe told Press TV on Wednesday that “the US has no legal jurisdiction to simply demand that kind of concession from Turkey to simply hand this man over.”
“The United States simply just cannot demand that someone be turned over when they are facing trial for something inside of Turkey.”
