San Lorenzo beats Nacional 3-1 in Copa Sudamericana

San Lorenzo of Argentina have defeated the Uruguay club Nacional 3-1 in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana Round of 16 in Buenos Aires.

San Lorenzo got to the score sheet when Nacional’s Rodrigo Erramuspe scored an own goal in the 19th minute.

The Argentine side piled up the pressure and Nicolas Blandi doubled the lead before the break with a powerful shot from inside the box.

Then Gonzalo Bergessio cut the deficit for Nacional in the 70th minute from the spot. But, that was not the end as Nicolas Blandi scored his second form the spot with 10 minutes remaining.

With the victory, San Lorenzo established a more dominant advantage for the second leg which will be held on the 27th of September.
