What Is the Status of Palestinian Refugees? How does the Judaization of Israel affect the future return of refugees?

U.S. president Donald Trump is making the move to strip millions of Palestinians of their refugee status by cutting UN agency aid. The Trump administration is preparing to withhold tens of millions of dollars from the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, cutting the year’s first contribution by more than half or perhaps entirely. Donald Trump has not made a final decision but appears more likely to send only $60m of a planned $125m first installment to the UN Relief and Works Agency. UNRWA grants refugee status to all descendants of Palestinians who left or fled Israel with the establishment of the in 1948, swelling the number to an estimated five million at present, when the number of actual refugees from that conflict is estimated to be in the low tens of thousands.
