Disappointed by hard warfare, US now resorting to soft war to achieve goals: Journalist

The United States has started resorting to soft war such as economic warfare, after American military invasions brought about disappointment for Washington, says a commentator.

“The US has given up its hard warfare that includes military action because of its cost and because of its disappointing results in the Afghan war and also in Iraq, so they have been using other scenes and other areas like semi-hard and soft-warfare that includes various kinds of economic warfare, financial warfare, dollar warfare as well as media warfare in order to change the minds of the people,” journalist and political analyst Mostafa Khoshcheshm told Press TV on Monday.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has underlined that the Islamic Republic will not sit for negotiations with the US because of its history of cheating and bullying policy, referring to America’s withdrawal from a landmark nuclear deal with Iran, called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
