Ghoddos reaches agreement to join Spanish soccer club Sociedad Deportiva Huesca

Swedish-born Iranian footballer Saman Ghoddos reportedly has an agreement in place to join Spanish football club Sociedad Deportiva Huesca, which currently competes in the men's top professional football division of the Spanish football league system – La Liga, next season.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who plays for Östersunds FK in the Swedish Allsvenskan, had earlier been linked with move to English professional football clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, commonly referred to as Wolves, Queens Park Rangers Football Club, commonly abbreviated to QPR, Fulham, Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion, Brighton & Hove Albion and even Manchester City.

France’s Football Club des Girondins de Bordeaux, Amiens Sporting Club and Stade Rennais Football Club, commonly referred to as Stade Rennais, has also expressed interest in singing the Iranian soccer player.

Ghoddos was a substitute for the Iran men’s national football team, nicknamed Team Melli, during the squad’s three matches against Morocco, Spain and Portugal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.

The young Iranian sportsman has so far this season scored ten goals in 20 games for Östersunds FK. There are reports that he is under contract with the Swedish club until 2020.
