XI'S AFRICA TOUR

China is doubling its financial commitments to Africa as it builds up support from the developing world. During his recent Africa tour, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Senegal, Rwanda, Mauritius and South Africa and inked financial deals with them. In South Africa, Beijing's biggest trade partner in Africa, Xi unveiled a $14.7bn investment, doubling the amount he had promised the nation in 2015.
