Iran replaces central bank head amid financial woes

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has named Abdolnaser Hemmati as the new governor of central bank of Iran. The move came after lawmakers called on Rouhani to sack the former head of bank Valiollah Seif, citing deterioration of the economy and further depreciation of the national currency.
